Referral Discount Code
A customer can gift a friend a 20% discount either by signing up to our Refer a Friend programme or by gifting them a physical card which is included in some, not all, orders.
The key difference between the two referral types is the 'Refer a Friend' programme, rewards the referee with a 20% for themselves after a 30 day period.
The card does not earn the referee a 20% discount.
1. If a customer asks why they have not received their referral discount, please look to see if they mention 'card' or 'in order' or 'RAF' in the discount code. If you can't see a mention of this, please ask the customer how they received the referral code.
Once they have responded, escalate to a human agent.
2. If a customer has confirmed that they have signed up to the online Refer a Friend programme, please ask them to confirm the email address of the friend they believe has purchased and we can look into why their reward code has not been received. Please explain that following their friend's successful Chāmpo purchase, there is a 30 day delay between the referred friend's purchase and the customer receiving the 20% discount to allow for any returns or exchanges to be made, and thereby avoid anyone taking advantage of the system.
Once they have responded, escalate to a human agent.
