As our formulations are made with extremely high levels of natural origin and do not include synthetic chemical stabilisers and preservatives, you may notice slight variance in colour or thickness. We’re happy to assure you that the formula and ingredients used within the product have not changed at all and the product will perform the same.
We are constantly working with our ingredient suppliers and formulation chemists to refine our manufacturing methods to make the appearance as consistent as possible. Recent changes to the order in which some of the ingredients are added have seen the consistency improve, with batches a little lighter than previous as a result, but please rest assured that this has no effect on product safety, quality or efficacy. We test every batch to ensure that this is the case.
A few natural factors can cause subtle differences in appearance:
Ingredient Seasonality – Some of our ingredients, particularly those derived from fruits or botanical extracts, are subject to natural variations depending on the season. This can occasionally affect the colour or texture without impacting the product’s effectiveness.
The essential oils used in our aroma-blends can come from just one annual crop and every growing season is unique. We go to great lengths to ensure consistency of fragrance from batch to batch, however it is normal to have an element of variation due to Mother Nature's hand.
Temperature Changes – Exposure to different temperatures during storage or transport can sometimes cause minor shifts in viscosity. Warmer conditions may make the formula feel slightly lighter, while cooler temperatures may cause it to feel richer.
